Hold an Event this Blue Knot Day - 24 October 2016

Thank you for your interest in organising an event for Blue Knot Foundation – your event and fundraising efforts (if you choose to do so) will help raise vital awareness and ensure the continual delivery of Blue Knot Foundation’s specialist services.

There are a number of ways you can organise an awareness raising event, and/or a fundraising event for Blue Knot Foundation and the 1 in 4 adults that have experienced childhood trauma. Below are some simple ideas for you or your organisation:

  • Morning or afternoon tea with a gold coin donation
  • Birthday or anniversary celebration seeking charity donation
  • Organised walk, run, swim or cycle
  • Fundraising dinner or gala event
  • Trivia or movie night
  • Barbeque
  • Mufti day
  • Faith-based event

    As an organisation

    • Donate a percentage from the sale of particular items
    • Name Blue Knot Foundation as your chosen charity at your next corporate lunch, dinner or Golf Day
    • Show your support of Blue Knot Foundation to your customers and clients by running a donations appeal
    • Set up workplace giving to Blue Knot Foundation where the organisation matches the amount donated

    Step 1: Please read our Event and Fundraising Guidelines to get a better idea of what it means to organise an event on behalf of Blue Knot Foundation.

    Step 2: Fill in the below event and fundraising application form, you may also download a hard copy of this form and send it to us via post if you would prefer.

    Alternatively, if organising an event is not your thing, you can simply make a donation to Blue Knot Foundation to show your support.

    Terms

    • I confirm I have read and understood the Event and Fundraising Guidelines and will abide by them at all times.
    • I confirm all the information provided in this form is accurate and does not contravene any intellectual property rights, copyright or other laws.
    • I agree that all personal and sensitive information associated with the proposed event will be handled in accordance with all relevant privacy legislation. (Please note that the details you provide will only be used for correspondence and/or media opportunities).
    • I confirm that the proposed Event complies with all relevant legislative and local government requirements, including all appropriate permits, licenses and insurance necessary in the state/territory where the event is to be held. It is the responsibility of the Event Organiser to ensure adequate public liability insurance cover is held in relation to the Event.
    • I confirm that I will not exploit the position as the Event’s organiser and/or the association with Blue Knot Foundation for personal gain.
    • I confirm that as the Event Organiser, I release Blue Knot Foundation from any liability for any injury, accident or other loss, whether physical or financial, suffered by the Organiser or its personnel while conducting the Event.
    • I confirm that any fundraising costs shall at all times be held to a percentage of revenue which is generally acceptable within the not-for-profit sector and by the public. The traditional percentage split is no more than 70/30 – overall activity revenue to activity costs.
    • I consent that any photos I provide can be used to promote any work and activities of Blue Knot Foundation for no monetary claim. I agree that these photos will have had the permission of those in the photos to be used by Blue Knot Foundation.
    • I confirm that by submitting this form, I am acting on behalf of, and with the authority and power to bind those individuals and companies conducting the Event.
